Player Bio

Lane Miller is a rare combination of speed and power that is hard to find at any level. Over three varsity seasons at Scott City, Missouri, Lane has posted a .431 career batting average with an OPS over 1.141 — numbers that reflect his ability to consistently do damage at the plate against top competition.

His junior year alone he hit .518 with a .621 OBP, 59 hits, and 44 RBI — numbers that rank among the best in MSHSAA history. His speed is just as dangerous on the bases, totaling 39 stolen bases across three seasons. Lane doesn't just get on base, he changes the game once he's there.

On the mound he has been equally dominant, going 18-2 with a 1.74 ERA and 140 strikeouts over his career. As a versatile defender with a .950 career fielding percentage, Lane gives coaches the flexibility to plug him in wherever they need him most. Off the field he backs it up in the classroom, earning Academic All-State honors in both his sophomore and junior seasons.
